Consultation
A professional consultant will visit you on site to discuss your
ideas / wants / needs, and help develop design solutions to suit your particular
garden and budget. Often, an unscaled, rough sketch is done of the site to help
visualise design ideas. Planting suggestions may also be discussed at this
meeting. At the completion of the consultation a design quote can be provided
for the formal design of these initial design ideas.
Concept Plan
A concept plan is the further formulation of the initial design
ideas into a fully scaled plan. It includes ideas on the layout of various
garden elements, eg entertaining areas, service area, paths, water features,
decks, shade structures, walls, features, play areas, vegetable garden, feature
areas and general spaces. It also indicates the location and structural
intention of trees, shrubs, groundcovers and feature plants.
Landscape Plan
After presentation of the concept plan, any changes discussed are
made to the plan and the final landscape plan is created. The landscape plan is
fully detailed and includes construction details and specifications. All
landscape elements are detailed and a full planting schedule is included naming
specific plants in exact locations, plant numbers and recommended pot sizes.
When complete, a number of options are available: this plan can
be used to obtain quotations from qualified landscapers (recommendations
available) for the construction of the project; we can manage the project for
you; or we can organise our construction team to give you a free construction
quote.
