- Ease back on the irrigation if your lawn is well-established. When you do need to water, ensure it is deep so that you encourage the roots to grow down. This may mean you need to water several times with 5 or 10 minutes break between so you don’t get run-off and do get the water penetrating. You may need to use a soil wetting agent to help get the water into the soil.
- Put your lawn mower in for a service now that you don’t need it so often. It will have had a lot of use this summer and autumn!
