- Prune grapes, kiwifruit and pome fruit any time from now until early August. Pick any kiwifruit still left on the plant
- Plant new strawberry plants and remove dead and old leaves of any old plants. Remove any plants older than 3 years. Mulch with straw to keep the strawberries off the ground
- Pick citrus fruit from the most exposed part of the tree first
- Plant fruit trees and berries which are now available in nurseries bare root. If you aren’t sure how to do it ask the horticulturist at the nursery to prune them for you
